Baosteel and BHP-Billiton Agreement on 2005 Iron Ore Prices
After efficient exchange and friendly communication, Baosteel, the largest steel maker in China, concluded the iron ore price negotiations for 2005 with Australia-based BHP-Billiton, one of the leading iron ore suppliers.
As an outcome of these negotiations, iron ore prices for Newman lump and Newman fine, FOB port Hedland, increased respectively by 71.5% relatively to 2004.
